Established in 1904, Oris are an important Swiss watch brand creating quality timepieces for discerning watch lovers without the budget for the bigger brands.
First introduced in 1938 as Oris’ first watch for pilots, the ‘Big Crown’ does exactly what it says on the tin. If you want to read more about why it was necessary for a pilot’s watch to have an oversized crown you’ll find more information here – Not sure why a Diver needs the same feature but it looks perfect.
The 7502 is an all stainless steel watch with a 38mm case, automatic Swiss movement and a sapphire crystal giving it water resistance to 200m.
The black dial is really clear thanks to the large luminous markings and hands and the design of the strap makes it really comfortable on the wrist.
This particular example is in excellent condition having been well looked after through its life and recently benefiting from a thorough clean and test.
Supplied with an Oris service case, it’s a great piece to accompany the other watches in your collection or perhaps if you’re looking for your first Swiss diver’s watch.
