What You Should Know

This pre-owned Oris Aquis Titanium Date is a Gen 2 watch has an all titanium 42.5mm case, automatic Swiss movement and sapphire crystal giving it water resistance to 300m. It is in 99% perfect condition having hardly been worn.

Established in 1904, Oris are an important Swiss watch brand. They create quality timepieces for discerning watch lovers without the budget for the bigger brands.

One of the most loved of all Oris models, the Oris Aquis Date was actually born from the classic Oris Full Steel of 1998. (Which wasn’t a diver’s watch at all incidentally….)

In 2001, the Full Steel morphed into the TT1 (The watch that led to the Williams F1 connection) and then over the years via the TT Diver and Pro Diver, finally into the Aquis, launched in 2011.  The first Aquis was a SERIOUS diver’s watch which inevitably made it pretty chunky. Oris found that this was putting off the all important ‘desk diver’ community so in 2017 they realeased a slimmed down Gen 2 version.

Just tested by Rolex & Omega certified watch specialists Michlmayr & Co and this Oris Aquis Titanium Date is  running within COSC spec.

At Oakleigh Watches we endeavour to bring you the best examples of the watches you’re looking for. With very few exemptions this involves ensuring that all key components are original to the watch. On the very rare occasions that any key components have been replaced this will be made clear in the description. All pre-owned watches by Oakleigh Watches are 100% genuine. We do not deal in fakes, replicas or homage watches. For more information, take a look at our blog “Is that the Original?” READ HERE
The watches that we sell are usually pre-owned and therefore pre-worn. The wearing of the watch, even for a short time, is likely to put small marks on the case or bracelet. If any of our watches are pre-worn and unmarked, then it’s highly likely that it has had a light polish at some point. There’s a temptation to think that any polishing is bad, it is not! Check out our blog – “Has this watch been polished?” READ HERE
All our pre-owned luxury watches are tested to ensure that they are water resistant (where applicable) and comply to COSC spec. Passing these tests means they do not require a service at present. If they have recently been serviced, it will be detailed in the description.
Yes, all our pre-owned watches come with an Oakleigh Watches 12-month warranty. If there is an existing warranty remaining from the original watch purpose, it will be stated in the description.
