Why We Love It

“If you’re looking for an all original Rolex GMT Master II Full Set that you can comfortably wear and not worry about too much then this is the watch you’ve been looking for.”

What You Should Know

This pre-owned Rolex 16710 GMT Master II Pepsi is a really lovely example. It was made in 2004 and as such is one of the later 16710s, made with the Superluminova dial and hands. Just three years later the model was discontinued.

This GMT Master II is pretty much as close to perfect as you would want it to be and still have its wearable.  The case is sharp and the lugs are fat and the dial and hands are perfect, the bracelet shows virtually no wear at all.

Here at Oakleigh Watches, we have always known that the classic Rolex GMT Master was a definite appreciating asset and prices have gone up and up recently.  Real ‘Safe Queen’ NOS or even unworn watches come along from time to time but I don’t think we’ll ever see another under £17,000.  Not only are these watches becoming really costly, there’s a question about how wearable they are.

Just tested by Rolex & Omega certified watch specialists Michlmayr & Co and this Rolex 16710 GMT Master II Pepsi is  running within COSC spec.

We are experts in buying, selling and trading pre-owned luxury watches. Our many 5 star Trust Pilot reviews are testament to our customer satisfaction.

For every watch purchased, we commit to planting 25 trees through Ecologi. Our tree counter can be seen at the bottom of the page. Read more about our sustainability impact on our Ecologi Profile page.

The watches that we sell are usually pre-owned and therefore pre-worn. The wearing of the watch, even for a short time is likely to put small marks on the case or bracelet. If any of our watches are pre-worn and unmarked, then it’s highly likely that it has had a light polish at some point. There’s a temptation to think that any polishing is bad, it is not! Check out our blog – “Has this watch been polished?” READ HERE
All our pre-owned luxury watches are tested to ensure that they are water resistant (where applicable) and comply to COSC spec. Passing these tests means they do not require a service at present. If they have recently been serviced, it will be detailed in the description.
