The Rolex 1675 GMT Master is the GMT reference with longest production run, produced between 1959 and 1980 – this one is from 1978 and so it’s one of the last ever made.
The main features of the 1675 are all present with this watch including the original matt dial with Maxi plots, tritium hands and plexiglass and the dial and hands are superb with no patina or damage whatsoever – it’s all incredibly clean and crisp.
The BLRO ‘Pepsi’ insert is beautifully aged and rich, the case edges are sharp and even and the lugs are thick. The Oyster bracelet is excellent and has a little wear – I have to say that this is a lovely example of a Rolex 1675 GMT Master.
It comes with the correct original inner box, the papers and their wallet with the serial number attached and the green pre-Swimpruf tag – the case back sticker has been stuck onto the wallet.
The movement has recently been serviced by Michlmayr & Co, the movement runs within COSC spec with very strong amplitude and won’t need another service for some years.
Complete with a twelve month warranty, this is an excellent example of a 1675.
