As the sibling brand of Rolex, Tudor have made some wonderful watches over the past eighty years like this Tudor Black Bay Bronze.
In 2007, Tudor launched a whole new range of watches which are designed to be like their Rolex brothers but with more “Sartorial Sense” – they’re more colourful, more daring and for a younger customer – they’re fantastic watches and have been a massive success everywhere that they are sold.
Of the models in the current range, the Black Bay Bronze was an immediate success when it was launched in 2015 with a brown dial and bezel. That model has now been discontinued and replaced by this brand new version with the Slate Grey dial.
This particular Black Bay Bronze is a virtually unworn, unmarked Full Set. The best characteristic of any bronze cased watch is the individual patina that it will develop over time – this has started with this watch which has matured from the bright yellow that it was originally into a darker bronze colour which will only improve with age.
If I had to criticise this watch it would be to say that the NATO strap is showing slight signs of wear under the buckle – these can’t be seen on the wrist.
The watch comes with all the accessories and papers from new,.
Supplied with the balance of the five year Tudor warranty.
