As you may know, ‘Mr Oakleigh’ writes a regular column in the luxury lifestyle magazine ‘The Norwich Resident’ (http://www.norwichresident.co.uk).
In January 2016 the article was called ‘Resolution Not Revolution’ and here it is:
Resolution not Revolution
So it’s January again, the time of year when instead of going around in circles doing the same old thing we resolve to do something different.
Most New Year resolutions focus on giving up something bad for you which often comes with the added benefit of a regular cash saving and I’m just the man to advise you what to do with all that money.
A packet of 20 cigarettes for instance costs around £9 and the average smoker gets through 20 a day – that’s £300 a month you could save towards the new Bremont Jaguar MkIII and in a year it would be yours.
On the other hand, if you’ve gone all Breaking Bad and developed a Crystal Meth habit then a year of your £50 a day savings will have you in this beautiful A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia at a smidge under £20,000…
Food for thought folks… healthy food for thought.
