In July 2016 the article was called ‘Summer’ and here it is:
Apparently summer is here and with it comes an entirely new colour palette for your wardrobe and a great opportunity to update your watchrobe too.
In contrast to the traditional, decidedly wintery, silvers and blacks there are some great new colour schemes out there.
Take for example the new Tudor Bronze Bay – a watch so striking in its bronze and brown hues that it instantly seduced me and I secured the first one to arrive in the UK. A beautiful addition to your summer.
For the ladies, purple is very much the new black this summer as evidenced by the number of purple and dark pink tinted timepieces released at Baselworld in the spring. The best of these is probably this rather fetching Blancpain Ladybird with a diamond dial and bezel which I think manages to blend style and glamour very tastefully.
As a footnote if I may, please ladies, a little restraint when it comes to the combination of colour and diamonds….?
