The Heuer Monaco Steve McQueen is without doubt one of the most important watches ever made and a classic for Motor Racing fans the world over.
This watch is one of the first Heuer Monacos ever made coming as it does from 1972 - it's said that the total production run of these watches only ran into a few thousand so it's a rare thing indeed.
The case is in excellent condition with just a few tiny marks that are too slight to show on the photos or video. The dial and hands show slight signs of patina but none of the deterioration on the visible part of the dial that you so often see on Heuer Monacos and the plexiglass is perfect.
The strap is a replacement blue perforated sports strap with the original Heuer buckle.
The Calibre 15 movement was serviced a couple of years ago and it has just been tested again at Michlmayr & Co.
