Heuer Monaco - one of the most iconic motorsport watches ever created.

The Heuer Monaco Steve McQueen needs little introduction. Instantly recognisable thanks to its bold square case and legendary association with motor racing, it remains one of the most important and collectible chronographs ever produced.

This particular Heuer Monaco dates from 1972, placing it among the early production examples of a watch whose total output is believed to have numbered only a few thousand pieces worldwide. For collectors, that rarity alone makes it a highly desirable reference.

The watch remains in excellent vintage condition. The case shows only the lightest signs of age, while the dial and hands have developed a gentle, even patina that adds character without any of the deterioration often seen on vintage Monacos. The original plexiglass crystal displays some light crazing, entirely consistent with age, although we are happy to replace it at our expense and return the original crystal to the next owner.

Fitted to a replacement blue perforated racing strap with the original Heuer buckle, it captures the unmistakable spirit of the era perfectly.

At its heart is the legendary Calibre 15 automatic chronograph movement, freshly serviced by specialists in May 2026and running beautifully.
