This Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Memovox 50th Anniversary is one of only 1000 made to celebrate the half century since the first Memovox was made back in 1968.
The 42mm stainless steel case is beautifully proportioned and with the three crowns on the right hand side, it's purposeful and sporty while still being stylish and classy. The case back is engraved with a diver's helmet and the Anniversary details as well as the limited edition number.
The black dial is made of three sections which are textured differently and has both batons and Arabic numerals. It is perfect and looks very clear against the vintage lume effect hands. The centre part of the dial rotates through the use of the top crown to set the Memovox alarm which is such an iconic feature of this model. It comes on the original JLC rubber strap with a stainless steel JLC deployant buckle, both of which are in excellent condition.
The overall condition of the watch is excellent with only tiny marks to show that it has ever been worn. There is a very small mark on the coating of the crystal which you can see in certain lights but you have to look for it and it's invisible in normal use.
This is a genuinely rare and lovely limited edition Jaeger-LeCoultre watch.
