An exceptional early Omega Seamaster 300 with a beautifully aged tropical dial, distinctive lollipop seconds hand and original vintage character.

Introduced in 1957 alongside the Speedmaster and Railmaster, the Omega Seamaster 300 was part of Omega's legendary trilogy of professional watches. Designed for serious diving, it combined a rotating bezel, highly legible dial and robust automatic movement in a watch that would become one of Omega's most collectible vintage models.

This 1958 Omega Seamaster 300 CK2913-7 is a particularly interesting early example, featuring a 39mm stainless steel case, black rotating bezel, elegant dauphine hands and the sought-after 'lollipop' seconds hand, instantly recognisable by its large circular luminous tip.

But the real highlight is the original tropical dial. Once black, it has developed a remarkable mottled chocolate-brown appearance over nearly seven decades. This natural ageing gives the watch a unique character and is one of the details that makes original early Seamaster 300s so desirable.

Inside is the reliable Omega Calibre 501 automatic movement, recently tested and running properly.

An original tropical dial, rare lollipop seconds hand and classic 1950s design - this vintage Omega Seamaster 300 is a wonderful example of how time can make a great watch even more interesting.
