This Omega Speedmaster Professional ‘Early Bird’ is an all-original Full Set from 1964 and is very likely the only complete example available anywhere in the world. A museum-grade piece, yet fully authentic and exceptionally well documented.
The 105.012-63 reference is a cornerstone of Speedmaster history. It was the first asymmetrical, twisted-lug Speedmaster, produced three years before the model most collectors recognise as the first Speedmaster Professional. With an estimated production of around 2,000 pieces, the number that survive today - let alone as complete Full Sets is vanishingly small.
Every component is original and correct to the watch:
-
Rare “Asymmetrical T” dial
-
Correct DON (Dot Over Ninety) bezel
-
Original 7912 bracelet
-
Legendary calibre 321 movement
The movement was professionally serviced in 2022 by an Omega-certified watchmaker, while the original bracelet was sympathetically refurbished by Michael Young during the same period.
The provenance is exceptional. The watch is accompanied by:
-
Both original boxes
-
Original papers
-
An Omega service receipt from 1968
-
An official Extract from the Omega Archives
For serious collectors, this is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to acquire one of the rarest of all Speedmasters, complete with its original papers and documentation - a true reference-level Omega Speedmaster Professional vintage.
Crafted by Omega, this is not just a watch, but a foundational chapter in horological and space-watch history.
