<p class="isSelectedEnd">This Omega Speedmaster Professional Straight Writing is an important version of one of the legendary Moonwatch worn during the Apollo missions.</p>
<p>The Straight Writing was the first Speedmaster produced with any reference to the Apollo XI Lunar landing.  All previous  models bore no reference at all and subsequent versions had the more elaborate circular inscription and raised Hippocampus.</p>
<p>The most appealing part of the Straight Writing is how simple and naive it is - it genuinely looks like Omega sent these watches to an engravers as an afterthought - and it took them two years after the Moon Landing to get around to even that.</p>
<p>This watch has the lovely early stepped dial, with a printed Omega logo and the correct DNN bezel insert.  The hands have faded at a different rate to the dial but this is normal for many vintage Speedmasters, everything is original here.</p>
<p>Also original is the 1171/633 bracelet which is in great condition with a secure original clasp.</p>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">Of course it has the sought-after manual-wind 861 movement, black three-register dial, Hesalite crystal, stainless steel case back and no-date configuration that enthusiasts know and love.</p>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">Presented as a genuine Full Set, it comes complete with its original inner and outer boxes, warranty papers and wallet.</p>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">It is in excellent condition, not overpolished or damaged and its genuinely lovely.</p>
