The Omega Omega Speedy Tuesday was made to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the internet hashtag #SpeedyTuesday of Fratello Watches.
A makeover of the 1978 Alaska Project III it has a 'Reverse Panda' dial with white opaline subdials against a black dial, encircled with a black aluminium bezel ring.
The vintage style applied Omega logo is rhodium-plated, the hour markers coated with Super-LumiNova and all markings and subdials are coated with luminescent ink. Of course it has a hesalite crystal.
The caseback is engraved "SPEEDY TUESDAY ANNIVERSARY - A TRIBUTE TO ALASKA PROJECT III" as well as the Limited Edition number (XXX/2012).
This one has been worn no more than a few times and it's close to perfect. We can't find any marks on it to distinguish it from a brand new watch. Neither the brown leather strap nor the additional NATO have ever been worn and they are perfect.
It comes with the inner and outer boxes and the plastic cards, the leather watch roll, strap changing tool and books, all of which are perfect.
Unusually, it also has the original serial numbered plastic box that it came from the factory and a red Omega factory wallet with spare spring bars.
This is an outstanding Full Set.
Just tested by Omega certified watch specialists Michlmayr & Co this Omega Speedy Tuesday is running within COSC spec.
