The Rolex 116660 Deepsea is amongst the ultra-resistant divers’ watches engineered by Rolex for deep-sea exploration.
First made in 2008, its 44mm case is 17.7mm thick and it has a 5.5mm crystal – for comparison, the current Submariner is 41mm and just 12mm thick. That makes the Deepsea the biggest stainless steel Rolex wristwatch ever with a depth rating of 3900 meters.
This 2011 example is nice with sharp edges and a clean ceramic bezel – the original Heavy Oyster bracelet is solid with no stretch and a tight clasp. It is still stickered and hasn't been worn since a recent service.
It comes with original papers, both boxes and booklets, green seal, wallet and integrated diver’s link.
Just serviced and tested by Rolex and Omega certified watch specialists Michlmayr & Co this Rolex 116660 Deepsea is running within COSC spec and comes with a twelve month warranty.
