In 2003 the Rolex 16610LV was launched to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the Submariner - with its black Maxi dial and green bezel insert it soon attracted the nickname "Kermit" and was made for seven years from 2003 to 2010 when its was superseded by the 116610LV "Hulk".
From 2007, this is one of the later Kermits made, just before Rolex began engraving the serial number on the 'rehaut' - the piece of steel between the dial and the underside of the glass.
The case on this watch still has sharp edges, sides and even lugs – it has a 'Swiss Made' Superluminova Maxi dial and handset and they are excellent with no trace of age or patina. The bracelet has only a little wear.
Complete with both boxes, papers, all books and tags.
