The Rolex Explorer 114270 was the last incarnation of the 36mm Explorer before the 39mm versions were launched. It has the classic proportions of the first sports Rolex that was made in 1954.
A beautiful watch, this Explorer is in lovely original condition, it must have been worn very carefully. The case, dial and hands of this watch show no signs of wear. Importantly, the case has an original finish to the front of the lugs. The bracelet has a little wear but the crown is sharp showing that the whole thing has certainly not been overpolished.
The watch comes with both boxes, the papers and their wallet, as well as the booklet, red seal and Swimpruf tag.
Just tested, this Rolex Explorer 36mm is running within COSC spec.
