I have to admit to being quite struck by this Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix.
We've had a few Vacherons over the years but none of them prepared me for the sheer quality and beauty of this Fiftysix.
The stainless steel case is finished to an extremely high standard and the sapphire display caseback shows the beautifully finished and detailed movement off perfectly. Everything is in superb condition and apart from a few marks on the inside of the strap, it is all completely unmarked.
The blue dial features three white gold hands for hours, minutes and seconds along with matching white gold Arabic numerals.
The Maltese Cross is a very important theme that runs through the Vacheron Constantin brand and you can see it on the dial, the crown and the 18ct white gold buckle.
One significant feature of this unworn Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix is that alongside the leather strap is an unworn Vacheron Constantin stainless steel bracelet. This was bought alongside the watch as an optional extra at significant additional cost - I think it was around £1,500.
Just tested by certified watch specialists Michlmayr & Co this Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix is running perfectly.
